At Rupbhadra Gurukulam, we believe that true upliftment of society begins with compassion, awareness, and education. While our roots lie in spreading the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Geeta, we also take active steps to address the social issues that affect everyday lives—especially those that often go unspoken. One such issue is menstruation.

In India, menstruation is still surrounded by taboos, myths, and stigma. Many women and girls are made to feel shame for a natural biological process. They are often isolated, restricted from daily activities, or denied basic hygiene products and information. This silence leads to severe health issues, emotional trauma, and a lack of dignity.

To challenge this deep-rooted problem, Rupbhadra Gurukulam launched a special awareness initiative called Divine Flow.

What is Divine Flow?

The Divine Flow project was designed to raise awareness about menstrual health and hygiene among underprivileged women. Our volunteers visited local communities, held open conversations about periods, and broke harmful myths with empathy and education. Most importantly, we distributed free sanitary pads to women and girls who cannot afford them, helping them maintain basic hygiene and self-respect.

We focused not just on product distribution, but on changing mindsets. We talked about how menstruation is not impure, but a divine process that sustains life. Drawing from our spiritual foundation, we emphasized the importance of respecting the body and treating all its functions as sacred.

The Change We Wish to See

Through Divine Flow, we hope to create a society where menstruation is not a source of shame, but a subject of normal, healthy conversation. We aim to empower women with knowledge, access, and the confidence to care for themselves.

Our mission continues, and we invite you to support or join us in this journey of dignity, health, and awareness.

Because when we uplift women, we uplift the world.
